I have big news! If the baby's not born in 6 days, my mom will get a drug so she can have the baby! I'll have a little sister in a week! I can't wait! Nora Katherine Shepard is her name!
Well, I have a big day ahead, I should get a nights sleep. Good night! It's almost 9:00.

Dear Diary,
Sorry I didn't write to you sooner. You're almost one, and this is my 7th time writing to you. I haven't been writing to you a lot. Well, today was a normal day, but there were a few highlights. First of all I had a wonderful new year.
Our class, and all the 3rd & 4th graders had a meeting today. One of the complaints were the people that get hot lunch don't have as much time as the lunch period. So the assistant principal promised everyone a Big Mac if there were 5 minutes or less time to eat after the last person that got out of the lunch line, until the end of the normal period. We lost unfairly.
Alexis dared me to go up to Teddy Graham and say: “Shut up you big hunk and kiss me!” I wouldn't! Then she did! About five times! Three out of the - no - more than 3 out of the five - Wait. Abour 8/9 of the the times Alexis said “Shut up you big hunk and kiss me” to Teddy Graham, he heard her! And did nothing! But he's probably home thinking about her.
Oh well, good night. It's 10:19. I've got to go to sleep.

Dear Diary,
Day after Christmas. This is a diary from Aunt Louisa. I plan to use this for anytime I'm mad, sad,happy, or any other feeling. She knows all about my problems. I wish I had the internet so I could write to her.
We just opened gifts. We is Grandma, Grandpa, Mark, Julie, Abby, Philip, louisa, Gabe, Nicholas, Mom, Dad, Luke, Scott, Nora & me. I got a Ralph Lauren purse, 2 books, this diary, this pen, a desk set w/ another diary, a VERY pretty real pearl necklace, a little box, and a beanie baby.
… My life is easy. I live in a house with my 5 family members and my cat. We aren't poor, I attend a good school, have a nice room, good sources of entertainment, a great wardrobe, a wonderful family (excluding my parents who I just don't get along with but love just the same). I'm afraid I'm spoiled . Some people, however, don't see past my well off life.
