Most of my memories of my Senior study in the Lounge involve Kiki...they were crazy times :). Some of my favorites are these...during a hot day Kiki stood in front of the ginormous fan that was in the Lounge trying to cool down, and in the process posed for some fun pictures (I posted the one I took). That picture is how I see her in my head, laughing, trying to keep her skirt down, with a look of radiant joy on her face.
Less sniffle-y memories...re-enacting crazy Jerry Springer guests, especially the guy who ran away after telling his girlfriend he cheated on her! Talking about sexuality...in general and at Regina, listening to her stories from camp (I think she told us about Silver Lining...the one out West). Making fun of her obsession with Dr. Phil...I still don't understand that, but that's okay.
Kiki marching into the Lounge on the first day of the semester and announced that she was going to be able to do the splits by the end of the year. Almost everyday after that you could see her sprawled out in the middle of the floor in some state of undress attempting to strech herself that far. I don't think she ever quite made it, but she was pretty close!
I'm probably forgetting a bunch, but those are the first things that came to mind. I don't know about other people, but normally when I think about Kiki, it's something funny or silly, and I'm forced to smile. It's hard to explain to people at school why I'm smiling about a friend who died over the summer. I hope some of y'all understand what I'm talking about. Kiki was so full of life it's hard not to smile when I think about her.
Kiki - I love you and miss you!
