The fourth of july passes and I am still here in Buenos Aires, finishing up a semester abroad. This week it is hard to be away from home and everything that reminds me of her. It’s a week that, the past two summers, I have dedicated to surrounding myself with memories and traditions that make me feel re-connected and closer to her. Here the days pass with people and places that never knew her, and that is hard. But I know that I am not alone in missing her, and that as I think about her here, so are all of you, back in Evanston or wherever you may be. I send my love to you all.
