It's been four years since Carrie passed and her love for life is still living within her family and especially her friends as we start a new part of our lives.
I'm doing my pediatric clinical and have encountered many ALL patients. The strength they exhibit is nothing less than inspirational. I can only imagine what a gift Carrie was to her nurses. In the fall I begin work in an ICU as well as graduate school at Marquette specializing in geriatrics. While it is the other end of the spectrum, I will always have Carrie in my heart reminding me to hold on to strength, love and to keep my sense of humor.
I'm grateful for the ways she touched my life everyday.
